ICYMI, butter-yellow is having a moment. According to Vogue, Louis Vuitton sent butter yellow down its spring 2024 runway, and the rest is history. KitchenAid even named it the 2025 color of the year, and you can snag their stand mixer in the hue. I get it—it’s soft, sunny, and warm. But I’m still not convinced.
In fashion? I’m all in. But when it comes to interiors, I personally think I’ll stick to using it in small doses—like throw pillows, linen napkins, or a cute vase. It’s just not for me. However, I can appreciate those interior designers who have been incorporating it boldly.
